Cancel and Return

If our collectors have exhausted all efforts and an account does not meet legal criteria, FAST will keep the account on our system in an inactive status. At any time, an inactive account may become reactivated by additional information found through a newly placed account or other networking efforts. Our clients are able to track cancellations through monthly reports that are available through our office. Because FAST lists debts with major credit reporting agencies, we continue to get response from consumers long after accounts have become inactive.

Agency initiated cancellations are limited to bankruptcies, write-off balances due to contractual agreements, and write-offs due to settlements with attorneys. However, no account is settled unless authorization is obtained from the client, and a client may request an indefinite hold on any account at any time.
